A special called meeting is called for tonight at 6 p.m. at Trenton City Hall.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss requests for traffic control, road closures and other assistance through the special event permit applied for a couple of months ago by the fair committee.  Originally the city was looking into some previous issues with road closures and blocked driveways for some of the residents during the event, but then COVID-19 guidelines went into place and whether or not the fair could be held at all was called into question.

The fair committee decided to still hold the fireworks on the 4th of July, but postpone the rest of the fair until July 18.

The meeting will be streamed live by KWN on our Facebook page, KWN News Now
