Annual Tire Amnesty Day Set for May 2 in Dade County
TRENTON, GA — Dade County residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of old tires during an upcoming community cleanup event.
The Annual Allan Bradford Tire Amnesty Day is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Dade County Waste Transfer Station, located at 888 Sunset Drive in Trenton.
Free Tire Disposal
The event allows Dade County residents only to dispose of up to 20 tires per person free of charge.
Accepted tires include:
- Standard car tires
- Truck tires
- Motorcycle tires
Officials note that large truck and tractor tires will not be accepted, and all tires must be clean—free of mud, water, rocks, or debris.
Additional Service Offered
In addition to tire disposal, the American Legion will be on-site to respectfully collect worn American flags for proper retirement.
Helping Keep Dade Clean
County officials say the event provides a convenient way for residents to clean up their property while helping protect the environment and keep Dade County clean.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free service and plan to attend during the scheduled hours.
