A Flat Rock man has died following a single-vehicle crash in Jackson County.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says the accident happened around 5:55 p.m ET. Saturday on Alabama 117, near the 26-mile marker, about two miles northwest of Flat Rock.
The victim has been identified as 59-year-old Barry D. Dunn. Troopers say Dunn’s vehicle left the roadway, hit several trees, then struck an embankment and a culvert before overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are continuing to investigate.
