The Dade County Board of Commissioners met Thursday evening for their monthly work session. County Executive Ted Rumley was not in attendance due to illness.
During the meeting, the following were approved for SPLOST and ARPA funds;
There was an update to the Historic Courthouse Restoration Project by Mr. Jamey Blevins, CM of BCM, Inc. According to the update, the HVAC rough-in is underway and RFP for framing and drywall has been issued for proposal submission for January 27th.
In addition, five Hummers previously owned by Dade County have been surplussed and will be disposed of by bid.
