    Impacts from ice accumulation are already being felt in portions of northeast Georgia extending into the Atlanta metro area. These impacts will expand through the morning hours across the warning area as ice accumulations continue to build.

Get ready for race day by building your very own Pinewood Derby car! Meet us at the Scout Hut to design your car and watch as it’s cut out right before your eyes. Participants will have access to safety glasses, sanding materials, paint, and wheels—everything needed to get race-ready for the big event on March 7.

(This includes the car kit and all supplies.)

Scouts who are members of Dade County, GA Scout units may have their car kit and supplies covered through fundraising. A registration link will be available soon.

Last year, thanks to a generous donation, we were able to provide free kits to participants. If we receive donated kits again this year, those savings will be passed along to everyone.
