Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Financial
Aid Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high-performance
environment through positive leadership and teamwork. Primary responsibilities will include
coordinating financial aid programs offered by the college and ensuring that the college
adheres to all Federal and State regulations; supervising the office of financial aid for all
campuses of GNTC; Occasional travel between campuses as well as overnight travel for state
and federal updates will be required.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science,
accounting or a related field. Proficiency in the use of Banner or similar student financial aid
software. At least three years of experience in an area relevant to administration of educational
financial accounting, financial aid, grants, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a
customer service-oriented attitude, be proficient in the use of technology in an office
environment, and possess the ability to multi-task and work as a team member in a fast-paced
environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A minimum of three years of work experience in a financial aid office at a postsecondary
institution in a supervisory capacity. Experience in the use of EDE, EDConnect, SURFER,
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

Salary: $80,000-$85,000
