Dade County High School is now accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year for a Special Education Para-Professional. Strong written and oral communication skills are required for this position.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: To work with special education students in completing educational activities under the supervision of the classroom teacher/administrator, and to assist teachers in maintaining a positive climate and learning environment for students.

QUALIFICATIONS: Hold at least an Associate’s Degree (in any subject); or have completed two years of college coursework (60 semester hours); or have passed a Georgia Professional Standards Para-Professional assessment test. If eligibility is established through the assessment test, the applicant must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
