Fleetwood Mac’s 1977 classic, “Dreams,” has been heard more than 230 million times in the last two weeks across streaming services, social media, and U.S. radio. The classic track exploded when a feel-good video of Idaho resident Nathan Apodaca lip-syncing Stevie Nicks' vocals took over social media.

The TikTok video ignited a “Dreams Challenge” with people all over the world making their own version of the video across social platforms. Even band members Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks got in on the global event by making their own versions of Apodaca’s video.

The viral phenomenon also has people revisiting or discovering Fleetwood Mac’s back catalog, with “The Chain” and “Landslide” both now on the Spotify U.S. chart. And across all streaming services, Fleetwood Mac songs were up 68%.
