The Atlanta Braves’ season comes down to one game Thursday night as they host the Philadelphia Phillies in the deciding Game 3 of the National League Wild Card Series at Truist Park.
The best-of-three series is tied at one game apiece. Atlanta took the opener before Philadelphia answered Wednesday with a dramatic 4-3 victory in 10 innings. Alec Bohm’s solo home run in the top of the 10th proved to be the difference after Kyle Schwarber and Bryce Harper hit back-to-back home runs in the eighth to erase Atlanta’s 3-1 lead.
Now, it’s win or go home. The winner of Thursday night’s game advances to the National League Division Series to face the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Philadelphia finished the regular season 88-74, while Atlanta captured the NL East with a 94-68 record. The Braves will turn to left-hander Ray Kerr as the opener, while Aaron Nola is scheduled to start for Philadelphia.
First pitch is scheduled for approximately 8:15 p.m. Thursday night at Truist Park.
