The Dade County Sheriff’s Department is urging residents in an area near the Alabama state line to remain inside their homes as law enforcement works an active crime scene.
The department issued an alert concerning the area of Michael’s Road, from Highway 301 to the Alabama state line, with the active crime scene reported in the 400 block of Michael’s Road.
The Dade County Sheriff’s Department released the following statement:
“All residents in the area of Michael’s Rd, from Highway 301 the Alabama State Line, need to stay inside their residence. We have an active Crime Scene in the area of the 400 block of Michael’s Rd.
If you see anyone (non law enforcement) out walking in the area, please contact 911 immediately!”
No additional information about the circumstances surrounding the active crime scene has been released at this time.
