The Georgia Bulldogs are back Between the Hedges Saturday afternoon for a major SEC matchup against the Oklahoma Sooners.
No. 2 Georgia enters the game with a perfect 3-0 record and a 1-0 mark in Southeastern Conference play, while Oklahoma comes to Athens at 2-1 and will be playing its SEC opener. The Bulldogs are coming off a 45-17 road victory over Arkansas last weekend.
Saturday will mark just the second football meeting between Georgia and Oklahoma and the Sooners’ first-ever trip to Sanford Stadium. The only previous meeting came in the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Rose Bowl following the 2017 season, when Georgia defeated Oklahoma 54-48 in double overtime.
Kickoff from Sanford Stadium in Athens is set for 3:30 p.m. Eastern.
