Bestselling Author Doug Griffiths to Speak in Dade County Thursday Night — Tri-State Residents Invited

Residents from across the Tri-State area are invited to a free evening focused on community growth, leadership and working together as bestselling author and community strategist Doug Griffiths visits Dade County Thursday, September 24.

The Alliance for Dade is hosting An Evening with Doug Griffiths at the Dade County High School Theater in Trenton. The event is open to everyone throughout Northwest Georgia, Northeast Alabama and Southeast Tennessee.

The evening begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by Griffiths’ presentation at 6 p.m.

Griffiths is the bestselling author of 13 Ways to Kill Your Community and is known as a “community therapist” for his work helping communities identify and overcome the attitudes, behaviors and patterns that can prevent growth and progress.

During his presentation, Griffiths will share practical strategies for embracing change, recognizing opportunities, building resilience and working together to create stronger communities.

His presentation will explore several topics from his book, including the 13 ways communities can undermine their own success, the seven essentials of successful communities, community psychology and the importance of collaboration in overcoming challenges.

The event offers an opportunity for residents, business owners, elected officials, educators and community leaders from across the Tri-State area to come together, exchange ideas and explore ways to strengthen their communities.

The event is completely free, and everyone throughout the Tri-State area is encouraged to attend. However, reservations are required because seating is limited.

The reception begins at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 24, with Griffiths speaking at 6 p.m. at the Dade County High School Theater, located at 300 Tradition Lane in Trenton, Georgia.
