The Atlanta Braves are going for a sweep Sunday afternoon when they wrap up their three-game weekend series against the Philadelphia Phillies at Truist Park.
Atlanta comes into the series finale at 88-61 overall and has been especially tough to beat at home, posting a 51-26 record at Truist Park. Philadelphia enters Sunday at 82-67 overall and 41-33 away from home.
The Braves have won both games so far this weekend. Atlanta battled back for a 6-5 walk-off victory in 11 innings Friday before the Braves’ offense broke loose Saturday in a 12-2 win over Philadelphia.
With the series already secured, Atlanta will now look to make it three straight over its National League East rival and complete the Sunday sweep.
The Braves and Phillies are scheduled for a 1:35 p.m. first pitch.
