CB&S Bank Announces ATM Upgrades and Temporary Branch Closures

CB&S Bank customers in Trenton, Higdon and Lookout Mountain will see temporary ATM outages beginning Friday as the bank begins a system conversion and upgrades ATMs to new Interactive Teller Machines.

According to CB&S Bank, ATMs at the Trenton, Higdon and Lookout Mountain locations will become unavailable beginning Friday, September 11, at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time while the conversion takes place.

The bank says customers should check with their affected branch for specific information about when ATM service will resume.

In Trenton, the current ATM is being upgraded to an Interactive Teller Machine, or ITM.

The new technology will provide traditional ATM services while adding deposit capabilities and the ability for customers to interact with a live teller by video.

Customers will be able to use the new ITM to speak with a video teller, make deposits, withdraw cash, check account balances, make transfers, change a PIN and make payments.

CB&S says the Trenton ATM will be unavailable from Friday, September 11, at 12:30 p.m. until Wednesday, September 16, while the upgrade is completed.

The bank says any ATM fees incurred by Trenton customers who use a non-CB&S Bank ATM during that upgrade period will automatically be refunded to their account by the next statement cycle.

The conversion will also affect weekend branch operations.

The Trenton and Higdon branches will be closed Saturday, September 12, due to the system conversion. The Lookout Mountain branch is normally closed on Saturdays.

CB&S Bank says the temporary disruptions are part of upgrades designed to provide customers with expanded banking services and improved access.
