Georgia Bulldogs football is back, and fans can follow the season opener today on Classic Hits K-WIN.
The No. 3 Georgia Bulldogs open their 2026 campaign this afternoon as they welcome the Tennessee State Tigers to Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium in Athens. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
Georgia enters the new season 0-0 and ranked third in the Associated Press Top 25, while Tennessee State comes to Athens with an 0-1 record. The Bulldogs are coming off a 12-2 season in 2025 that included an SEC championship and a trip to the College Football Playoff.
Quarterback Gunner Stockton returns to lead the Georgia offense after throwing for 2,894 yards last season. Running back Nate Frazier is also back after rushing for 947 yards, while Zachariah Branch returns after leading the Bulldogs with 811 receiving yards.
For Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, Saturday provides the first opportunity to see how the pieces come together as Georgia begins another season with championship expectations.
Tennessee State will look to spoil the Bulldogs’ opener and pull off a major upset in Athens.
