The Atlanta Braves are back in action Tuesday night as they open a three-game series against the Washington Nationals.
Atlanta enters the series with an 82-56 record as the Braves look to start September on a winning note. Washington comes into the matchup at 66-74 and will try to slow down a Braves club looking to build momentum during the stretch run of the regular season.
Tuesday night marks the first of three games between the division rivals, giving Atlanta an opportunity to get the series started on the right foot.
First pitch between the Braves and Nationals is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
