The Atlanta Braves will look to put the finishing touches on a strong weekend at Truist Park Sunday afternoon when they close out their three-game series against the Colorado Rockies.
Atlanta has already secured the series by taking the first two games from Colorado and will now have an opportunity to complete the three-game sweep in front of the home crowd. The Braves enter the Sunday finale at 81-55 overall and continue to play some of their best baseball at Truist Park, where they have put together an impressive 47-23 home record.
Colorado will try to avoid the sweep and salvage the final game of the series. The Rockies come into Sunday at 52-84 overall and have struggled away from home this season with a 25-46 road record.
With the first two games already in Atlanta’s win column, the Braves will look to keep the momentum rolling and finish the weekend with another victory before turning their attention to the next series on the schedule.
First pitch between the Braves and Rockies is scheduled for 1:35 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Truist Park.
Braves baseball begins with a 12:20 p.m. airtime on WFLI The Big One.
