The Dade County Wolverines will kick off the 2026 high school football season under the Friday night lights as they welcome the Pepperell Dragons to Trenton.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, with both teams entering the season opener at 0-0.

Dade County enters the new campaign with several experienced players returning from last year’s squad. Quarterback Win Garmany is back to lead the Wolverine offense, while Dade County will look to its returning experience on the offensive line and at the skill positions to help establish an identity early in the season.

Friday night’s opener should provide an immediate test for the Wolverines as Pepperell comes to Trenton looking to begin its season with a road victory.

For Dade County, the matchup is an opportunity to start the new season on the right foot in front of the home crowd and build some early momentum before the schedule moves deeper into the season.

Fans who can’t make it to the game can listen to all the action live on Classic Hits K-WIN 101.3 FM and 1420 AM. Pregame coverage is set for 7:15 PM.

The Wolverines and Dragons kick off at 7:30 p.m. Friday night in Trenton.
