The Atlanta Braves are back in action Friday night as they welcome the Arizona Diamondbacks to Atlanta for the beginning of a three-game weekend series.
The Braves enter Friday with a 73-48 record, including an impressive 41-21 record on their home field. Arizona arrives in Atlanta at 64-58 overall and has gone 28-31 away from home this season.
With the regular season moving through the second half of August, every series becomes increasingly important. Atlanta will look to continue its strong play at home while Arizona tries to begin the weekend by handing the Braves a rare home loss.
