The Atlanta Braves will look to even their three-game series with the New York Mets Tuesday night after dropping the opener on Monday at Truist Park.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m., with airtime beginning at 6 p.m. on WFLI – The Big One.
Atlanta enters Tuesday’s matchup with a 71-48 record and remains one of the top teams in the National League despite Monday’s setback. The Braves have been dominant at home this season with a 39-21 record at Truist Park and will look to get their offense back on track against a Mets club that has struggled for much of the year.
New York comes into Game 2 with a 53-67 record and is 28-33 on the road. While the Mets took the series opener, the Braves will be looking to respond quickly and avoid dropping back-to-back games at home.
It’s Game 2 of the three-game set, and with one game remaining after Tuesday, Atlanta has an opportunity to even the series before Wednesday’s rubber match.
