Ace Hardware of Lookout Valley says several individuals allegedly stole items and damaged property at the business while it was closed Sunday night.
In a social media post, the business said the individuals arrived around 8:30 p.m. with an empty truck bed and later left with the bed full of items allegedly taken from the property.
According to the post, chains and barriers at the entrances to the business were broken during the incident, resulting in additional property damage.
The business also addressed the circumstances surrounding the alleged theft in its post.
