A juvenile who was reported missing in DeKalb County has been found safe.
Authorities announced that Zander Jett Nance, 16, was located safe at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
Earlier Tuesday, law enforcement asked the public to be on the lookout for Nance after he was last seen around 10 p.m. Monday in the 1500 block of County Road 261.
Officials said Nance had ties to the Valley Head community and may have been dropped off near Valley Head School Tuesday morning, prompting a public request for assistance in locating him.
No additional details about where Nance was found or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance have been released.
