North Sand Mountain School is inviting students and families to kick off the new school year during its Back to School Bash on Tuesday, Aug. 4.
The event will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. CST and will give students the opportunity to meet their teachers, visit their classrooms and prepare for the first day of school.
Several grade-specific meetings and orientations are scheduled throughout the evening. Pre-K families will meet at 5 p.m. in the lunchroom, followed by a meeting for third grade families at 5:30 p.m., also in the lunchroom.
Incoming ninth-grade students and their families are invited to attend freshman orientation at 6 p.m. in the high school gym. Seventh- and eighth-grade students will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the elementary gym.
Students in all other grades will report directly to their assigned classrooms to meet teachers and become familiar with their learning environment before classes begin.
School officials encourage all families to attend the Back to School Bash as an opportunity to receive important information, meet school staff and help students start the 2026-27 school year with confidence.
