Dade County Board of Education to Meet Monday; Capital Projects, Grants Among Agenda Items
TRENTON, Ga. — The Dade County Board of Education will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on Monday, July 27, with several important items on the agenda, including updates on capital improvement projects, federal grant approvals, and school safety.
The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Dade County Board of Education, located at 52 Tradition Lane in Trenton.
Among the highlights on the agenda is the Superintendent’s Report, which will include:
- A Capital Project Update
- Results from the Summer Meal Feeding Program
Board members will also consider a consent agenda that includes:
- Monthly financial and general fund reports
- An agreement for services with the Orange Grove Center
- Approval of Casper Therapy Services
- Employee leave and absence matters
- Updates to the district’s student electronic device policy
- Approval of the FY27 Title I Family and Parent Engagement Policy
- Approval of Title I, Title II, and Title IV federal grant awards
- A Memorandum of Understanding for the School Resource Officer program
The agenda also includes time for public input before board members vote on the consent agenda. Following those items, the board is scheduled to enter executive session to discuss personnel, property, safety, and student matters before returning to open session for any personnel action.
