Today Is the Deadline to Appeal 2026 Dade County Property Tax Assessments
TRENTON, Ga. — Today, Monday, July 20, is the final day for Dade County property owners to appeal their 2026 property tax assessment.
The Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office reminds residents who believe their property’s assessed value is inaccurate that appeals must be submitted by the close of business today to be considered for the 2026 tax year.
Property assessment notices were mailed to property owners on June 3, giving residents the opportunity to review their property’s assessed value and file an appeal if they believe it does not accurately reflect the property’s value.
Property owners with questions about their assessment or the appeals process are encouraged to contact the Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office as soon as possible.
