The Georgia Bulldogs are headed to Omaha and the College Baseball World Series, where they will open tournament play Saturday night against the Texas Longhorns.

Georgia enters the matchup with an impressive 51-12 record after a dominant season that has placed the Bulldogs among the nation’s elite teams. Standing in their way will be Texas, which comes into the College World Series with a 45-13 record and the No. 6 national ranking.
