Dade County Public Works is currently accepting applications for a Transfer Station Operator / Driver / Lead Person within the Sanitation Department.
This position is responsible for overseeing daily transfer station operations, conducting vehicle and equipment inspections, hauling recyclable materials, assisting residents using the facility, and helping maintain the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of the transfer station.
Qualified applicants must possess a valid CDL Class B driver’s license, although a CDL Class A license is preferred. Candidates must also have a current DOT Health Card and experience operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment. Training will be provided for the successful applicant.
