Dade County Property Assessment Notices Mailed; Appeals Due by July 20

SHARE NOW

Dade County property owners should begin checking their mailboxes after property assessment notices were mailed Wednesday, June 3.

County officials are reminding residents that anyone wishing to appeal their property assessment must submit their appeal no later than Monday, July 20, 2026.

The notices provide information regarding the assessed value of properties for tax purposes. Officials emphasize that assessment notices are not tax bills and should not be confused with the annual property tax statement that is issued later in the year.

Property owners are encouraged to carefully review the information contained in their assessment notice and verify that all details regarding their property are accurate.

Those with questions about their assessment or the appeals process can contact the Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office. Information is also available online through the county’s property records website.

Residents may visit www.qpublic.net/ga/dade for additional information or contact the Dade County Tax Assessor’s Office at 706-657-6341.

County officials encourage property owners to review their assessments promptly to ensure they have sufficient time to address any concerns before the July 20 appeal deadline.
