American Legion Post 106 to Host Memorial Day Service in Trenton

TRENTON, Ga. — American Legion Post 106 is inviting the community to attend a special Memorial Day service honoring the men and women who gave their lives while serving in the United States military.

The community remembrance ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Veterans Park on the Square in downtown Trenton.

Organizers say the event will serve as an opportunity for residents to come together to pause, reflect, and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the nation’s freedoms.

Community members are encouraged to attend and bring family and friends as Dade County gathers in remembrance and gratitude during the Memorial Day weekend observance.

American Legion Post 106 says the event is open to the public and is intended to honor the service and sacrifice of America’s fallen heroes.
