The community is invited to come together in appreciation and support of local law enforcement during the 21st Annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Ceremony in Dade County.

Hosted by the Optimist Club of Trenton-Dade in partnership with the Georgia Fraternal Order of Police, this annual event recognizes the dedication, bravery, and service of the men and women who work tirelessly to keep the community safe.

Set for Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the ceremony will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dade County Judicial Building. Community members are encouraged to attend and show their appreciation for local officers who serve and protect Dade County each day.

Following the ceremony, attendees will have the opportunity to gather and connect over a provided lunch, further strengthening the bond between law enforcement and the community they serve.

Organizers say the event is not only a time of recognition, but also a chance for residents to come together in unity and gratitude, honoring those who put their lives on the line to ensure public safety.

Residents across the area are encouraged to attend and help make this year’s ceremony a meaningful show of support for local law enforcement.
