According to the Dade County Board of Elections, poll workers play a critical role in ensuring elections are conducted fairly, securely, and efficiently. Officials say community participation is essential to maintaining a smooth voting process.

A current need has been identified at the Davis polling location, where workers are needed to help staff Election Day operations.

Poll workers will be required to work a full day, with hours scheduled from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Workers must report by 6:00 a.m. to prepare for the opening of polls.

Officials encourage anyone interested in serving their community to consider applying. Those who sign up will assist voters, help manage polling procedures, and support the overall election process.
