City of Trenton Confirms Personnel Resignation in Animal Services Department
TRENTON, Ga. — The City of Trenton has confirmed that a recent personnel resignation has occurred within its Animal Services Department.
In a statement dated February 26, 2026, city officials said that because the matter involves personnel, no additional details will be provided.
Mayor Joseph A. Case addressed residents, volunteers, and community partners in the statement, emphasizing that the city remains fully committed to the Trenton-Dade Animal Center and the continued advancement of the facility.
“I want to assure our residents, volunteers and community partners that the City remains fully committed to the Trenton-Dade Animal Center and to the continued advancement of this important project,” Mayor Case said.
According to the statement, planning and development efforts remain ongoing. City officials say they have plans in place to continue operations and move the project forward with current city employees, volunteers, and community partners.
