Two local student musicians brought pride to Dade County with standout performances at the GMEA District 7 Honor Band concert held today.
A.R. Alicea and Liam Davison earned the honor of performing in the prestigious ensemble after successfully completing a rigorous audition process during the fall semester. Selection for the District 7 Honor Band is highly competitive, drawing talented student musicians from across the region.
Despite having less than 12 hours of rehearsal over the past few days, Alicea, Davison, and their fellow District 7 musicians came together to prepare for the concert. Their dedication, talent, and hard work were evident throughout the performance.
The students represented Dade County with excellence, showcasing both musical skill and professionalism on stage. Their accomplishments reflect countless hours of preparation and a strong commitment to the arts.
