TRENTON, Ga. — Strong overnight storms moved through Dade County and surrounding areas, leaving hundreds of residents without power early this morning.

According to Georgia Power, 641 customers in Dade County are currently without electricity, with 23 active outages reported countywide as of the latest update. The outages are believed to be storm-related, with high winds and heavy rain likely causing downed lines and equipment damage.

Georgia Power crews are actively working to assess damage and restore service as quickly and safely as possible. Restoration times may vary depending on the severity of damage and accessibility to affected areas.
