DCHS Seeking Sponsors for Annual “Christmas for Kids” Event

With the holiday season quickly approaching, Dade County High School is calling on the community to help brighten Christmas for local children in need. The Annual DCHS Christmas for Kids Event will take place on Sunday, December 14 at 5 p.m., but organizers say many children are still waiting for a sponsor.

“We still have children needing sponsors for our annual Christmas for Kids,” organizers shared. “If you would like to spread a little joy with these precious children this Christmas season, please reach out and we will get all the information to you.”

The program relies solely on community generosity to ensure every child receives gifts and the joy of a warm, memorable holiday. Sponsoring a child provides more than presents—it offers hope, encouragement, and the reassurance that the community cares.

Organizers urge anyone able to help to consider sponsoring or donating. Even a single sponsorship can make a major difference in a child’s holiday experience.

To sponsor a child, volunteer, or donate, contact:
David Swader: (423) 802-3580
Sharon Chase: (770) 500-4392

As the event approaches, DCHS hopes more residents will step forward to help ensure no child is left without a reason to smile this Christmas.
