A traffic stop earlier this week led to the arrest of a man on multiple drug-related charges after authorities discovered a significant quantity of methamphetamine.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), the stop occurred on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, along Steam Plant Road. During the encounter, a JCSO deputy conducted a search of the vehicle and its driver.
The search reportedly uncovered approximately five ounces of methamphetamine, along with various items of drug paraphernalia.
The driver, identified as Dylan Scott Stewart, was taken into custody and is facing charges of Drug Trafficking and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Stewart is being held on a $50,500 bond.
