Sheryl Crow has released “Evolution,” the title track from her upcoming studio album.

The lyrics convey her uneasiness about artificial intelligence. She commented through a press release: “As a mom, I want to leave a better world for my children, a healthier planet. It’s unsettling, and this song deals with those anxieties.”

The cut includes a guitar solo by Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello. She said: “To me, Tom’s playing comes from some other planet.”

Sheryl Crow’s new nine-song album, Evolution, will be released on March 29.
