Olivia Rodrigo is on the August cover of Vogue, and went record shopping with the magazine for the accompanying feature promoting her upcoming second album, GUTS. She got on the topic of Bruce Springsteen after coming across one of his live albums from 1984. “He’s my biggest celebrity crush of all time,” she gushed. The record, PORN IN THE USA, featured Springsteen in a sweatband and t-shirt featuring the words, “Warning! This record contains noises of an explicit nature that may be offensive and should not be played in the presence of minors.” Rodrigo immediately decided, “Yeah, you’re coming home with me.” She also lists several other influences in the article, including Carole King, Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Strokes, Tori Amos and Harry Styles. GUTS, the highly-anticipated follow-up to Rodrigo’s blockbuster debut, SOUR, is set to arrive September 8th.
