David Bowie to be Honored by London’s Music Walk of Fame

The Music Walk of Fame in London, renowned for its musical history, will be unveiling a store plaque in honor of David Bowie. The unveiling ceremony will take place on September 15th, followed by a private event for Bowie’s friends, fans and musical colleagues. The unveiling event comes one day before the new Bowie documentary Moonage Daydream opens in IMAX theaters, with a wider release scheduled for September 23rd. “Our intention is for this to be the highest honor a music figure can receive in the UK and beyond, the unveiling of David’s stone ensures that legacy”, says Music Wall of Fame founder Lee Bennett.
