In an interview that aired on a Dutch radio station this week, Ed Sheeran announced that he and Elton John are releasing a Christmas song together.
Sheeran says that they talk on the phone nearly every day and last year at Christmas Elton John asked Sheeran if he would record a Christmas song with him.
Sheeran didn’t immediately say yes, because he never intended to record a holiday song. After thinking about it, and then losing a close friend his perspective changed. He said to himself… “Why the F*** am I not doing a Christmas song with Elton John?”
The song will be released sometime in December.
