Stella Lou Wells, 78, of Wildwood, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
Mrs. Wells was born on January 26, 1944 to the late Alton & Della Casey. She was raised in the Davis Community of Dade County, was of the Baptist faith, and retired from Family Dollar where she served as manager for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Dillard Wells, son, Robert Edward Wells, and brothers, Bobby & Randy Casey.
Survivors include her children, Rita Tripp, Trenton, GA, Scott Edward Wells, Wildwood, GA, & Regina Griffin, Rising Fawn, GA; grandchildren, Melinda (Phillip) Buckner, Billy (Sheena) McCurry, Edward Eugene Hicks, Ryan Griffin, Tyler Griffin, Shari Cronnon, & Cody Cronnon; 24 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Rickey Casey & Dale Casey of Trenton, GA; sister, Glenda James, Wildwood, GA.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ron Gilbert officiating. Online condolences may be shared at ryanfuneralhome.net.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23rd from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
