Paula Lynnette Rollings, 63, of Rising Fawn, GA, passed away on June 19, 2022, following complications from Guillian-Barré syndrome.
Paula was originally from Jasper, TN and a 1977 graduate of Marion County High School, where she was the feature majorette for the marching band. She was a veteran of the United States Army and a retired nurse.
Paula is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Drue Morgan; mother, Dimple Bouldin Rollings; father, Paul Rollings; and brothers, Terry Rollings and Michael Rollings.
Survivors include her daughter, Taylor Morgan (Brian) Gray of Trussville, AL; children’s father, Jody Morgan of Birmingham, AL; previous husband and close friend, Sammy Armstrong of Grove Oak, AL; sister, Donna (Philip) Pugliese of Chattanooga; and brother, David Rollings of Roswell, NM. Among Paula’s greatest joys were her four grandchildren, Laney, Jackson, Abby Gray, and Tristan Morgan.
Paula had loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.
Paula’s wish was to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm EDT at Covey Creek Farms in Ringgold, GA.
Arrangements are entrusted to Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
