Loretta Jane CastleberryRising Fawn, GA

Our dear mother, Loretta Castleberry, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 at the age of 87.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and loved her church community of Rising Fawn Baptist Church. She was a member of the Esther Sunday School class and a graduate of Dade County High School, class of 1953. Loretta was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Castleberry, parents, Frank & Sadie Colston Davis, son, Charles Castleberry, grandson, Dennis Clay Castleberry, and sister, Gladys Middleton.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Skip) Garmany, Chattanooga, TN; sons, Calvin Castleberry, Coalmont, TN, Randy & Dennis Castleberry, both of Rising Fawn, GA; grandchildren, Sabrina (Tim) Bray, Michael (Crystal) Castleberry, Starla (Jay) Hodge, Anthony Castleberry & Erin Garmany; several great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Davis, Pelham, AL; sisters, Mable Thompson, Soddy Daisy, TN, and Velma Allen of Texas; several nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Billy Wallace officiating. She will be laid to rest in Deer Head Cove Cemetery.
