Janet Irene York, 64, of Trenton, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Janet was a 1975 graduate of Davis High School and a member of Trenton First Baptist Church. She was co-owner of Larry’s Restaurant in Trenton for 42 years and was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle & Margie Shavers.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Larry York; children, Rebecca (Anthony) Jones, & Phillip (Rhiannon) York, all of Trenton; grandsons, Wesley, Andy, Michael & Ben; brothers, Daniel & David Shavers; several nieces & nephews.

Graveside services will be held Friday, September 9th at 2:00 p.m. at Trenton Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Eddie Cantrell officiating..
