Hugh Newton Blevins Jr.Rising Fawn, GA

Hugh Newton Blevins, Jr., age 74, of Rising Fawn passed away Saturday January 28th, 2023. He was born to Newt and Lillie Blevins on October 11, 1948 in South Pittsburg, TN. He was a graduate of Dade County High School class of 1968. He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1968 -1972. After returning he was self-employed in the construction industry as a contractor. He was most recently employed and retired from Dade County as County Inspector.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving include his loving wife Pam Forester Blevins of Rising Fawn, GA; children Doug (Sam) Blevins and their children Mason and Beau of Loganville, GA, and Becky (Alex) Williams and their children Jett and Lillie of Lexington, South Carolina; Brother Ernest Blevins of Chattanooga, TN; also several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday February 1, 2023 in the chapel with Rev. Dennis Flaugher and Rev. Reece Fauscett officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday January 31th 2023 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Wednesday February Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton Georgia.
