George Washington “G.W.” Hicks, age 92, of Trenton, GA went home to be with the Lord on Friday evening September 30, 2022 and rejoined with his wife of 71 years Annie Ivie Jean Hicks. He worked for Clark Lumber and retired after several years and began scaping metal and earned the name “Ironman."

Preceded in death by his wife, parents George and Emmie Raines Hicks, Sr., daughter Barbara Clark, and son Steven Hicks, also several brothers and sisters.

Surviving include his children Kenneth Hicks, Emma Sue James, Diane Morrow, and Ernest Hicks, all of Trenton, GA; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 1 PM Thursday October 6, 2022 at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens with Rev. Isaac Price officiating. Arrangements by Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton, GA.
