Dawson Wyatt Smith, age 1, of Flat Rock, AL, passed away to his heavenly home on Monday, April 11, 2022 with his mom and dad beside him.

Dawson was born a happy baby with congenital myopathy, but never gave up, always a fighter. He loved monkies, giraffes, and bath time. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen Moreland, great-grandfather, Glenn Bible Smith, great-uncle, Kevin Smith, & great-great-grandmother, Mary Lee Steele.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Travis & Ashley Smith; sisters, Scarlett Kay Smith & Carolina Graciela Smith; brothers, Glenn Bible Smith, II, & Ayden Lee Scott Smith; grandparents, Derrick Moreland and Fred & Tammy Smith; great-grandparents, Robert & Laura Steele, & Martha Lee Smith; godparents, Josh & Crysten Moreland, & Amanda Elliot.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clay Moreland officiating.
