Cody Dillon Edmondson, 33, of Trenton, GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 in Lewisburg, TN. Cody was on the Baptist faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served aboard the U.S.S. Harry Truman during the Gulf War. He was the recipient of several commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Navy Pistol Medal.
Cody was preceded in death by his mother, Mandy Edmondson, grandfather, James Edmondson, & grandparents, Roy & Teenie Sawyer.
Survivors include his father, Donnie Edmondson, Ider, AL; grandmother, Elaine Edmondson, Ider, AL; brothers, Austin (Ashley) Edmondson & Jacob Edmondson, all of Trenton, GA; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, February 7th at 3:00 p.m. EST at Payne Gap Cemetery with full military honors.
