Buelah Ballard Woosley, 78, of Bryant, Alabama went to her heavenly home on July 5, 2020 after a brief battle with brain cancer.

Buelah was born Feb 3, 1942 to Novella and Bill Ballard of Hooker,Ga. After graduating from Central High School, she met and married Fred Woosley and lived in Bryant, Alabama. Fred and Buelah loved and supported the Bryant Community. They were second generation owners of Woosley Hardware until 1996 and then

started Southern Star Catering where Buelah was able to use her culinary skills catering.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother who love to spoil her

grandchildren, she loved watching her grandsons play sports and was their number one fan.

She loved flowers and gardening, quilting and was an excellent seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Novella Ballard, & her husband Fred Woosley.

She is survived by her three children, Mark Woosley of Bryant, Alabama, Lacina ( James ) Chappelear Bryant, AL, Loucretia Woosley and her fiancé Jeff Mims; her beautiful grandchildren, Jessica Woosley Charlotte, NC, Jordan Woosley Charlotte, NC, and Garrett Chappelear and Greyson Chappelear; her sisters, Edna Blevins of New Hope, TN, Minnie Ballard of Trenton, GA, June Kennemore of TX, and Malissie Keenemore of Trenton, GA; many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks for her church family of Ebenezer Baptist Church for the wonderful food, prayers and phone calls.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at 3:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Bryant with Rev. Charles Edmonds & Rev. Wayne Winters officiating. Entombment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 7th from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the service hour at the church.
