Betty Jean Coker, 73, of Rising Fawn, GA, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 25, 2022.

Betty was of the Baptist faith and was a seamstress by trade. She enjoyed cooking and preparing the best meals. She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Flossie Nicholson, brothers, Roy, Willie, Woodrow, James, & Luke Nicholson, and sister, Annie Mae Rogers.

Survivors include her children, Cindy (Ray) Cross, Rising Fawn, GA, & Montra (Larry) Martin, Cedar Bluff, AL; grandchildren, Marcus (Kaitlyn) Coker, Courtney (Bailey) Gass, Destiny (Tyler) Courtney, & Alexis (Lee) Spencer; great-grandchildren, Kimber, Anzlee, Sadie, Remington, & Boone; sister, Velva Lee Taylor, Cleveland, TN; son-in-law, Thomas Martin; several nieces & nephews and sisters-in-law.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 4th at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rex Mayo officiating.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until the service hour at Ryan Funeral Home & Crematory, Trenton, GA.
